We have an opening for a Laboratory Test Engineer. \n
\n

Job Responsibilities:\n\nDesign and validate testing systems and fixtures.\nPerform ongoing monitoring of testing systems through Uncertainty Measurements.\nProvide Technical Consulting to a staff of Laboratory Technicians.\nConduct inspection of electronic components using Optical Microscopes and Scanning Electron Microscopes.\nPerform Elemental Analysis using Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS).\nPerform X-ray and CT analysis and inspection.\nPrepare and review test reports.\nDevelop and apply Failure Analysis skills to determine failure modes and if possible, root causes of suspect electronic components.\nUphold the requirements and principles of ISO-17025.\n\n

Job Requirements:\n\nExcellent technical writing skills required; technical writing experience preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills required.\nAbility to handle extremely small electronic components required.\nAbility to handle multiple projects and prioritize multiple tasks required.\nScanning Electron Microscopy \/ Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy (SEM\/EDS) experience is highly preferred but not required.\nX-Ray \/ CT Analysis experience is highly preferred but not required.\nStrong Soldering Skills are preferred.\nFour-year technical degree required, engineering degree preferred.\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. \nExperience with ISO-17025 is highly preferred.\nExperience with Altium Designer and Solidworks is highly preferred.\n\n
