Summary
Join our world-class R&D MPT Container & Disposable lab team as a Laboratory Test Engineer! This outstanding role combines multiple activities, among the others the execution of Functional Testing, Test Method Development and Validation, 3D printing, and CT scanning as per assignment.
You will support a variety of projects by performing lab activities described in protocols and lab requests for the studies led by study directors within assigned timeframe and milestones., analyze results, support protocols and report writing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct Container & Disposable functional testing and Test Method Development and Validation.
Perform multiple measurements and process tools as assigned.
Maintain accurate records and observations according to established procedures to ensure project-related information is accurately recorded.
Improve and apply technical guidelines to ensure high reliability in techniques and processes.
Operate electronic, mechanical, or computer systems with proficiency.
Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, identifying and preventing hazards to ensure workplace safety.
Coordinate task assignments to generate and report data within efficient timeframes.
Produce and assemble product prototypes.
Design small tools and print parts using a 3D printer.
Get Help HereAchieve repeatable results by consistently applying instructions and reporting progress and results accurately.
Provide reliable testing within agreed timelines.
Evaluate new ideas, test methods, and equipment for Container and Closure System testing.
Adhere to Quality Systems and ensure compliance with GLP/GDP.
Complete procedures accurately and reliably.
Align with EHS and 6S rules in laboratory areas, taking responsibility for preventing health hazards and correcting safety issues.
Review and document results in lab notebooks and data handling systems as required.
Qualifications
Proficiency in English and the ability to interact with multi-functional project team members.
Knowledge of laboratory practices and the product development process in the medical field is a plus.
Experience in statistical analysis with knowledge of Minitab is advantageous.
Familiarity with GLP/GDPs and FDA guidelines is an asset.
Personal skills: Great teammate, autonomous, well-organized, responsible, and a clear communicator.
Educational background: Engineer (Biomedical, Mechanical, or Materials Sciences).
Experience: 1-3 years in a similar healthcare environment is beneficial.
Expertise: Laboratory functional/mechanical/plastic material testing experience is advantageous.
