1st Shift Laborer 19/hour

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will use hand tools and equipment to perform cleaning tasks on machinery and work areas. This includes cleaning ash from products, shoveling into buckets, and removing oil spills around machinery. You will also be responsible for the overall cleaning of entire machines during shutdowns. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Safety is a priority, and you will be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas.

ResponsibilitiesUse hand tools and equipment to clean machinery and work areas.Clean ash from products and shovel into buckets.Remove oil spills and other contaminants from areas around machinery.Perform overall cleaning of entire machines during shutdowns.Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and perform repetitive physical tasks such as stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and crawling.Climb ladders attached to machinery or stairs.Use PPE such as double hearing protection, fire-resistant coveralls, eye protection, and hard hats in designated areas.Essential SkillsExperience in landscape, construction, or heavy labor environments.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with power washing or hydro blasting equipment.Experience in industrial cleaning.Understanding of confined spaces and respirator use.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
