Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated laborer responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment within an assembly facility. The ideal candidate will be skilled in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and process controls, and will be comfortable working with various AC & DC voltages, as well as 3-phase and single-phase systems.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and process controlsUse electrical test equipment to troubleshoot to a component levelWork with AC & DC voltages, 3-phase, and single-phase systemsInstall electrical wiring and conduits per National Electrical Code (NEC)Work independently or as part of a teamUtilize basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI)Operate variable frequency drives and motor controllersRead and follow electrical schematics and wiring diagramsUnderstand software associated with PLCs to troubleshoot issuesInstall and terminate communication and video cablesTravel occasionally overnight to repair equipment in the fieldUse various hand and power tools necessary for job completionEnsure safety and timeliness in all job aspectsEssential SkillsAbility to use electrical test equipmentKnowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)Basic knowledge of PLC and HMIExperience with variable frequency drives and motor controllersProficiency in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagramsBasic computer skills and knowledge of relevant softwareMinimum of 5 years experience in electrical troubleshooting or assemblyAdditional Skills & QualificationsPreferred 2 years of vocational school in electricalPreferred 3 years of experiencePhysical capability of bending, twisting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, and standing for extended periodsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

This role involves working in an assembly facility, handling various hand and power tools, and adhering to safety standards. Occasional overnight travel is required to repair equipment in the field. The work environment is collaborative, and you may work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pflugerville, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
