Laborer - CDL Required This is a laborer position who will participate in various daily labor duties and also be responsible for operating multiple types of commercial motor vehicles and miscellaneous equipment between work sites and transport work materials. **Job Type** : Full-Time +, Non-Exempt **Pay** : Competitive, Hourly Benefits: + Health Insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision) available upon start date + Life, long-term/short-term Disability Insurance plans + Company-sponsored Retirement Plan + Employee Assistance Program + Vacation Time + Paid Holidays Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Upon driving a variety of CDL vehicles including bucket trucks, crane trucks, and work vehicles towing a trailer to various job sites, this position will require providing on-site labor assistance to technicians in the installation and troubleshooting of transportation systems. The transportation systems will include copper cabling, fiber optic cable backbones, cameras, CCTV, digital message signs, vehicle detection systems, L2 and L3 switches, LAN/WAN, specialty software packages, IP configurations, etc. Minimum Qualifications: + Must be 18 years of age or older + Ability to accurately read plans and specifications + Comfortable working outside in various climates Education & Experience: + Previous experience in underground utilities/construction is preferred, but not required. Pre-Screen: + Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check. License & Certifications: + Valid CDL (A or B) is required. + Current DOT Medical Card, or ability to get one, is required.
