Upon acceptance of offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance abuse screening (Drug Free Employer). **Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:** + Following safety rules, regulations and procedures is mandatory + Perform tasks involving physical labor at heavy construction projects + Perform selected demolition and removal of concrete and asphalt materials, fixtures, and other construction debris using mechanical and non-mechanical methods + Dump, spread, and tamp asphalt to repair joints and patch broken pavement + Perform roadside landscaping work such as clearing weeds and brush + Shovel, pour ad spread asphalt, concrete and other materials + Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. + Lubricate, clean and possibly repair machinery, equipment and tools + Perform material handling and storage + Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials + The candidate must be willing to work long hours when required, some weekends and possible night work + Be flexible and able to take and follow orders in an independent or group setting + Have the ability to work in extreme weather conditions **Required Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED preferred + Must pass a pre-hire drug screen (Drug Free Employer) + Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to report to work on time + Current OSHA 10 card holders preferred + Must be willing to travel to various job sites + Ability to orally communicate with all workers and representatives on job site **Compensation:** Competitive wage commensurate with experience.
