Responsibilities Operate large, complex riding lawn mower (e.g., multiple and independently controlled cutting decks) and/or specially designed riding mowers to mow in areas requiring attention to space and environment. Equipment characteristics include single function performance and components that are independently controlled through various hydraulic and/or mechanical devises. Performs tasks that require significant manual skill, very heavy physical effort, several steps, phases, and detailed procedures (e.g., preparing ground for sod, flowers and shrubs). following drawings, specifications while utilizing a knowledge of project requirements. PCS Costs: Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. FWS Allowances and Differentials: This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800. Incentives and Bonuses: Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances: Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid.
