This position also provides labor support for our Equipment & Shop Services Department, as needed. The essential functions of the position are: + Loads, transports and unloads materials, supplies and equipment. + Check in deliveries and match inbound product to Purchase Orders (PO). + Notifies PO requestors by email, phone, or by delivering product to departments when their order has arrived. + Process requests for package and freight shipments. + Maintains safety supplies stock and notifies Operations Manager when supplies need to be ordered. + Perform other Shipping & Receiving tasks as directed. The successful candidate will have: + Must have a valid driver’s license to operate forklift and company vehicle(s). + One year of stable work history, but willing to train. + Must be skilling in using hand tools, small power tools and forklifts. + Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull. + Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. + Ability to communicate with others effectively. + Ability to work in a collaborative manner with multiple team members + Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. + Must be able to work indoors and outdoors with inclement weather conditions and have regular attendance.
