Responsibilities:
Greet customers courteously while following our procedures and requirements.Assist with unloading materials.Sort different metals based on their characteristics.Inspect customers' metals.Identify the correct type of metal for each product and verify its quality.Weigh metals on the scale.Enter data into the RECY software.Operate various types of machinery (e.g., forklift).Prepare reception/shipping tickets.Maintain cleanliness of the work area.Perform any other related tasks.Qualifications1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.Knowledge of metal recycling (strong asset).Forklift experience (strong asset) – training provided on-site.Bilingualism (an asset).Demonstrate safe and professional behavior.Be versatile and resourceful.Ability to work well in a team.Strong priority management skills.Provide excellent customer service.Additional InformationThe American Iron & Metal Company and its subsidiaries provide equal employment opportunities to all.
