Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your project management and technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates.
You'll lead the engineering team, managing resources and aligning with business and regional needs according to central engineering guidelines. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (procurement, process engineering, R&D), driving co-engineering initiatives, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of executing engineering Rolling Stock projects, managing tender activities, and driving improvement programs. You will also develop on-site engineering staff, including succession planning and competency matrix deployment.
We’ll look to you for:
Organizing and managing the Engineering Team in line with business needs and engineering guidelines
Executing engineering Rolling Stock projects and activities according to QCD commitments
Performing engineering activities for tenders and managing workforce according to project forecasts
Driving co-engineering with process engineering and co-development with suppliers
Pushing improvement programs and applying common processes for continuous improvement
Supervising key technical decisions and monitoring project-to-cost programs in engineering
Managing the engineering cost center and supporting innovations

Degree in Engineering or a related field
Experience or understanding of project management, risk and opportunity management with over 5 years of experience
Knowledge of Rolling Stock and its components with over 10 years of experience
Familiarity with engineering processes, tools, and methods
A certification in project management or leadership
Strong leadership and people management experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good financial understanding and the ability to make value-driven decisions
Fluency in English, Portuguese is desirable
