Responsibilities· Balance quality, productivity, cost and safety for continual improvement.
· Monitor measure and report on maintenance-related processes.
· Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems.
· Support maintenance plan by actively training maintenance employees in best practices.
· Ensure adherence to health and safety rules and regulations.
· Ensure training resources are fully utilized for current and future demands.
· Have an active role in continuous improvement plans for current processes and future growth plans to include maintenance trends, downtime trends, quality and safety projects.
· Maintain safe and clean work environment.
· Resolve advanced technical challenges by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions and socializing action in support of the maintenance organization.
· Assume control of machine when a situation arises which has potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of machine.
AUTHORITIES:
· Requisition or procure parts required for repairs or projects
· Provide verbal and written project timelines and projected milestones.
· Complete goals as assigned by Supervisor and coordinate closely with the Group Leader for compatible solutions to improved processes, corrective and preventative maintenance challenges, and cost reduction projects.
· Stay cognizant of all work performed on assigned machines and machine performance.
Qualifications· High School diploma or GED equivalent.
· Able to work independently and with others.
· Advanced and honed trouble shooting skillset.
· Dependable and motivated with proven work experience.
· Advanced technical proficiency in pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems.
· Strong communication skills to support solving progressive technical solutions in a team atmosphere.
· Experience with Continuous Improvement initiatives.
· Established record of accomplishment of proven performance with all aspects of safety.
· Strong computer skills are required. A good understanding of MS Excel, MS Word.
· Strong organizational skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
