Position Overview
The Lamination Technician performs a wide variety of fiberglass lamination tasks in the Resin Transfer Molding department. Tasks performed include mold preparation for gel coaters, removing fiberglass from mold, and transporting finished parts into hole cut booth. This position may also include gel coating, bracing, and various PI tasks.

Essential Functions:
Maintains and adjusts resin mixers and pumps.Reads production schedule and ensures parts are being completed and moved on to the next station in a timely manner.Must follow all safety standards and procedures, including chemical handling standards and Personal Protective EquipmentPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include wearing respirators, gloves, chemical resistance aprons, and chemical resistant suitsAbility to use hand, battery, and pneumatic toolsDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

High School Diploma or GED equivalentA minimum of 1 year of related boating building experience preferred3 years fiberglass lamination experience preferredAbility to read and understand blueprintsAbility to read a tape measureAbility to read and understand a production scheduleRequires ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, powered and manualAbility to work in a hot and dusty environment, using protective clothing and respiratorAbility to pass a respirator fit testWorking Conditions:
May be required to work in a non-air-conditioned area.Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbsAbility to work in a fast paced, noisy environment.The pay range for this position is $19.90 to $21.50, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
