Position Summary: Under direction of supervisor, effectively and efficiently place fiberglass material directly onto mixture of fiberglass particles, MEK and resin (which was sprayed by chopper gun operator). Rolls out fiberglass material ensuring that all air bubbles are removed. Duties and Responsibilities: + Able to follow work instructions/drawings and stay on task to complete a job + Takes direction from others. + Adaptable and flexible to changing work requirements + Proper use of required tools + Lean to roll out fiberglass material using FRP rollers and measure thickness of glass + Learn how to put in putty and some fiberglass materials + Removes air while laminating. + Laminates Hull, Deck, Liner, or Small Parts + Ability to remove air voids while laminating. + Assists with adding post lamination structure + Works with MEK and resin. + Able to cross-train and learn new areas of lamination + Proficiency in all aspects of job level. + Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: + High school diploma or GED preferred. + Experience and skills in rolling fiberglass preferred. + Experience with open mold lamination. + Knowledge of hull and/or deck construction on a boat helpful. + Able to work in a team environment. + Ability to adapt to changes in work processes. + Deadline and detail-oriented, ability to stay on task + Good attention to detail required + Able to work with a team and independently + Good attendance required + Excellent vision required + Able to work in an environment with hearing protection, respirators and other required PPE Safety Requirements: Employees have the responsibility to follow safety procedures, including wearing proper personal protective equipment and completing the appropriate job training. Physical Requirements: Including, but not limited to: climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, stretching, squatting and bending.
