We are actively seeking a Land Development Staff Engineer II to join our dedicated group of professionals in State College, PA. As a Staff Engineer II you will work closely with Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s) and other Staff Professionals to perform a variety of engineering related tasks to include:

Designing portions of projectsResearching code requirements for project sitesPreparing drainage, storm water management, erosion & sedimentation control and other reports required for project permits and approvalsPerforming research and writing reportsPerforming inspections of job sitesMonitoring work in progress according to scope of workWorking with drafters to reduce designs into completed drawingsReviewing shop drawingsPerforming construction observationPreparing construction cost opinions

Requirements

 

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering E.I.T. certification required, P.E. certification a plus Minimum 2 -6 years’ experience to include:  NPDES  Erosion & Sediment Control  Subdivision  Land Development  Municipal Engineering  Storm Water Management  Previous experience with a consulting engineering firm preferred Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Civil 3D and various engineering software Team player possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills Requires travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices (Valid US driver's license is required) Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
