Toll Brothers, America's leading luxury home builder, seeks a Land Development Estimator to join our team at our Corporate office located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

 

What is the opportunity?

 

The Land Development Estimator is responsible for developing sitework estimates, working with ALDEs and support LD Management, Acquisition, Land Planning, Engineering, and Operations.

 

What are the primary responsibilities?

Earthwork Analysis using Agtek 4D software.Subsurface Analysis supported by Geotechnical Reports.Heavy/Civil Construction Quantity Take-Offs.Develop Cost Estimates based on Engineered Site Improvement Plans.Develop Cost Estimates based on Conceptual layout design.Participate in project estimate reviews with LD Management.Value engineering, Plan Study, Bid analysis and review.Historical cost analysis.

Construction Drawing Comprehension:  Intermediate

Initiative:  Critically think, identify problems and bring to light concerns for review:  Intermediate

 

Technical Knowledge:

 

Earthwork Software:  Intermediate

Microsoft Office Suite:  Intermediate

 

Do you have these qualifications?

Essential:Interpret basic and complex construction plans and perform accurate takeoffsCritically review plans, highlighting foreseeable costs and concernsThorough understanding of site development grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and water systems and roadways Willingness to contribute in a cross-functional team environment, with many members, diverse skills and changing prioritiesAbility to maintain confidentiality on work assignments, work independently and meet deadlinesPreferred 1-3 years of experience in a related field Bachelor’s degree preferably in Civil Engineering, Geology, or PlanningExperience working with Earthwork Estimating software, preferably AgtekExperience working with AutoCAD/Civil 3D
