Responsibilities/QualificationsNational homebuilder with a superb reputation as a leader and innovator in the industry is seeking a Land Development Manager for our the Nashville Division.
This position is responsible for conducting and managing the bidding, budgeting, contracting, engineering, permit processing, scheduling and, site development in order to deliver finished lots on time and within budget. A Land Development Manager supports the acquisition, planning, and engineering of new ground for development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage internal development of communities to provide lots to the Nashville Division.Bid, schedule and supervise all land development activitiesConduct progress inspection projects to ensure they are on schedule and being completed in accordance with contracts and construction plansBuild and maintain relationships with municipalities, brokers, engineers, consultants, designers and developers to achieve acquisition and development of our projects and growth objectivesProvide budgets for development costs based on site plans and goals of the projectAssist in due diligence of raw land under contractReview, approve and sign off on acceptance of all lot purchasesOversee and manage Homeowner Associations by working with third party management companiesAct as a liaison between Land, Homebuilding and all developers regarding performance of community from development to release of bondsKnowledge and Skills:
Self-starter with strong work ethicExcellent communication and public speaking skillsPersistent, organized and energeticLocal market knowledge preferredExcellent problem solving ability to handle complex situationsTeam player who enjoys collaborating with various land development professionalsAdaptable and capable of adjusting strategiesRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, accounting, finance, real estate or related field2-4 years experience in real estate developmentExperience in the home building industry a plusStrong background in project managementThe typical schedule of this position will be Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, plus additional hours as necessary.
