VHB is on the lookout for a talented Project Manager to become a key player within our Land Development Planning and Design team in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities
Work closely with a production team to develop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of projectsSupport preparation of various land development design and permitting documentsResponsible for project financial performance and client relationsPrepare and review drawings and specifications documenting the designsAttend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues with themSupervise design team activities during Construction AdministrationManage work and development of junior-level staffManage small, medium, or large projectsDevelop new project opportunities and manage proposal submissionsSkills and Abilities
Well-developed knowledge of civil engineering concepts and practicesSkilled with project and client relationship management and collaborative problem solvingBroad knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations Skills to implement the integrated services approach Knowledge of land development construction including codes and development regulationsKnowledge of construction materials and detailing. Detail drawings, sections, and material specificationsExcellent innovative design skillsProject research and analysisAbility to adhere to office standardsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated with leadership skillsAttention to detail and qualityAbility to think critically, but also having imaginationAbility to multitaskExcels working in a true team environmentExhibits strong growth potentialBusiness development skillsQualifications
5+ years of civil engineering experience on complex projects whether through coursework or professional experience Proficient in site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management designExperience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reportsWe are VHB!
