ESE Consultants is seeking a Land Planner to join our team in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

 

What is the opportunity?

Provide site planning design, zoning review, and development density analysis for residential land development projects.

What are the primary responsibilities?

Prepare Sketch Plans and Yield Analysis for residential developments, utilizing hand-sketching, CAD drafting, and professional graphic presentations.Review site plans by others to assess layout feasibility and quickly and effectively communicate plan improvements in both written and graphic formats.Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.Communicate clearly, effectively and in a timely manner with key project stakeholders.Coordinate with Engineering and Land Development groups to ensure maximum value and constructability of site planning designs.Research, understand and comply with local, county, and state land use regulations.Provide planning documents and exhibits for land development projects in due diligence through public approvals processes.Prepare conceptual designs and construction drawings for entry features, signage, recreation facilities and other common elements within communities.

Qualifications

Passion for creative land use planning and design.Solid graphic and artistic skills.Good time management and multi-tasking abilities.Strong communication skills.

Do you have these qualifications?

At least 5 years’ experience in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field.Knowledge of commonly used practices and procedures within the land planning and development fields.Software and Graphic Skills:Must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop for color rendering site plansKnowledge of GIS for site base mappingHand drafting and drawing skills are preferredProficiency with 3D modeling and rendering software is a plus
