Laing O'Rourke are recruiting for a Land Surveyor to work on major projects in Northwest of England!

This role combines working in our offices as well as on sites.

* UK driving license essential *

Responsibilities:

Undertaking land / topographic and engineering surveys, using a variety of specialist equipment and technology, such as robotics and 3D scanners Setting out Analysing data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD, Civils3D, Leica Survey Software. Preparing survey drawings

The type of knowledge that will help you thrive in the role or add to your skill set include:

Leica Surveying equipment Numeracy and the ability to make mathematical calculations The ability to understand and interpret data Lateral and logical thinking Cutting-edge IT skills and confidence with new technology (Leica) Problem solving and analysis Attention to detail Verbal and written communication skills Organisation and time management The ability to work independently and as part of a team Degree in Geomatics/Engineering Surveying or Tech Qual (NVQ/TSA) or relevant qualifications preferred Experience within Leica systems

Qualifications and training required

Degree in Geomatics/Engineering Surveying or Tech Qual (NVQ/TSA) ICES membership (Grad/Assoc) Full driving license required
