Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Land Surveyor - Infra/Road to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our infrastructure and road development projects, you will be responsible for conducting precise land surveys, analyzing data, and providing crucial information for project planning and execution.
Perform field surveys for infrastructure and road projects using advanced surveying equipment and techniquesCollect, process, and analyze survey data to create accurate maps, plans, and reportsEstablish survey control points and benchmarks for project sitesConduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys as requiredPrepare detailed survey reports, including calculations and drawingsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure survey data meets project requirementsMaintain accurate records of all survey activities and findingsEnsure compliance with local and international surveying standards and regulationsCalibrate and maintain surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and reliabilityMentor and guide junior surveyors and field techniciansQualificationsBachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related fieldProfessional license or certification in land surveying (e.g., Professional Land Surveyor - PLS)Minimum 10 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in infrastructure and road projectsProficiency in surveying equipment and software, including GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD, and Civil 3DStrong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to read and interpret maps and blueprints accuratelyProficient in data collection, analysis, and report preparationStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of local and international surveying standards and regulationsFamiliarity with construction processes and project managementPhysical ability to work in various outdoor environments and weather conditionsWillingness to travel to project sites as requiredAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
