Job Title: Environmental Field TechnicianJob Description The Environmental Field Technician will be responsible for various tasks including construction observation, solid compaction tests, and gas monitoring. Responsibilities + Perform construction observation to ensure compliance with project specifications. + Conduct soil sampling and solid compaction tests. + Monitor and document gas levels as part of environmental assessments. + Maintain accurate documentation control and reporting. + Perform inspections as required. Essential Skills + Experience in environmental field work. + Proficiency in documentation control. + Skills in soil sampling and construction observation. + Knowledge of construction processes. + HAZWOPER certification. + Experience with inspections. Additional Skills & Qualifications + QA/QC experience. + Ability to travel 20-30% within the region. Work Environment The role requires working primarily outdoors in various weather conditions. The position involves travel within the region, approximately 20-30% of the time. The work environment is dynamic and involves frequent site visits and fieldwork.
