Homeless Services, Front Door NY Landlord Incentive Program
Rochester, New York [Hybrid]
FULL-TIME, Non-exempt] : 40 hours
Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) (https://positions.paylocity.com/PositionManagement/wizard/2033539) seeks a talented Landlord-Tenant Mediator to contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. TheLandlord-Tenant Mediatorprovides mediation services for the Landlord Tenant Mediation Program, including outreach and engagement with landlords and tenants for the ultimate purpose of providing mediation and conflict resolution services for landlords and tenants who are utilizing the Landlord Incentive Program through Monroe County and the Front Door NY website. TheLandlord Tenant Mediatorwill provide housing options for individuals and families who have previously experienced homelessness and/or meet the low-income requirements set by the program guidelines and have been housing with a landlord through the Landlord Incentive Program. TheLandlord Tenant Mediatorwill also be participating in several conflict resolution and mediation training opportunities to increase their knowledge of the skills that are required for this position. Additionally, they will also support all outreach efforts to landlords and service providers in the community to help support the efforts of developing and maintaining relationships within the community.
CCSI is partnering with the Homeless Services, Front Door NY Landlord Incentive Program to hire aLandlord Tenant Mediator.This position is employed by CCSI and working on behalf of the Homeless Services, Front Door NY Landlord Incentive Program.
In this role, you will be
+ Working with landlords, MCDHS, the City of Rochester and Monroe County, and other community stakeholders to promote and receive referrals for Landlord-Tenant Mediation, and identify landlords, property managers, and clients who can benefit from Landlord-Tenant mediation.
+ ·Working with the Landlord Incentive Program team to help develop the required documentation and intake paperwork that will be utilized for the Landlord-Tenant Mediation program.
+ Supporting of the Front Door NY website, work as the point of contact for any referrals to the Landlord-Tenant Mediation program.
+ Scheduling and negotiating terms of mediation for all referrals to the Landlord-Tenant Mediation Program.
+ Conducting in-person and virtual mediation sessions with landlords and tenants, working as a third party support to both sides.
+ Maintaining relationships with landlords and tenants, serving as a third-party liaison to address landlord issues or concerns.
+ ·Working with services providers in the community, specifically housing navigators and aftercare workers through Monroe County to engage tenants and landlords in mediation services, and ensure mediation agreements are being met.
+ Assisting in creating and sharing marketing materials to promote the landlord-tenant mediation program andFront Door NY (https://frontdoorny.org/) to landlords and property managers across Monroe County.
+ Developing and maintaining marketing materials for landlord engagement and mediation services as well as talking points for staff.
+ Regularly follow up and communicate with mediation participants (landlords, service providers and tenants) to ensure mediation agreements are being met.
+ Educating staff, housing partners, clients, and community members on the Landlord-Tenant Mediation Services offered through the program.
+ Working in close collaboration with the Monroe County Department of Human Service (DHS), LTSA, RHA vouchers to improve rapid access to mainstream quality permanent housing options.
+ Actively participate in landlord associations, workgroups, and community meetings, such as the Homeless Services Network in the Rochester area.
+ Supporting the planning of landlord engagement and appreciation events.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, psychology or related field and two years of related experience or an equivalent of education and experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart (https://www.ccsi.org/CCSI/media/pdfs/Equivalency-chart.pdf) ).
+ Specific training in Mediation Techniques through an established training facility.
+ Valid Class D New York State Driver License and access to motor vehicle to meet transportation requirements of job.

Salary Description
$45,000 - $49,000 annually
