Kimley-Horn is seeking a Landscape Architect with 4+ years of experience to join the Fort Worth, Texas (TX) office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities Support our national Landscape Architecture and Land Planning practices by providing site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical expertiseWork in a dynamic team environment on a range of projects including higher education, multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality and resort, community planning, and streetscape design throughout the region for a wide variety of great clientsProject experiences will be diverse as we provide services to both the public and private sectors.Site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical expertise on public and private sector projectProject Management/Task management on a variety of public and private sector projectsWrite proposals and scope of servicePreparation of Drawing sets, Details and Specifications, 3D modeling and Rendering Qualifications 4+ more years of relevant work experienceBachelors or Masters Degree in Landscape ArchitectureRegistered Professional/Certified Landscape Architect (PLA/CLA) license or ability to obtain in 1 yearProject management experience or desire to manage projectsStrong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Lumion, and Microsoft (Word and Excel) skillsWorking knowledge of graphic software programs (Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView, and PowerPoint)Strong freehand illustration and rendering skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsPositive attitude, team oriented, and a strong work ethicAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesSelf-motivated; sense of urgency to produce high quality workStrong presentation skills and a desire to pursue work, manage clients and a teamInvolvement in professional organizations desired**Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview**
