Landscape Architecture & Planning Student Intern - Summer 2025

We are currently seeking a Landscape Architecture & Planning Student Intern to join our team in Houston for summer 2025. During this internship, you will work with a project team to assist overall efforts of completing various project phases.

Responsibilities
+ Works on a full range of assignments in supporting the delivery of all project phases and construction administration
+ Works to gain experience in the comprehensive preparation of master plan reports, construction documentation, and the construction process.
+ Displays ability to grasp design concepts and express them graphically.
+ Builds models for client/project team review.
+ Compiles data and performs elementary design computations.
+ Performs benchmarking research on programming, comparable projects and images.
+ Assures HOK document standards are met and archives documents appropriately.
+ Actively promotes collaborative and innovative culture.
+ Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
Required Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD.
+ Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
+ Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, GIS, Ecotect, and InDesign graphic software preferred.
+ Proficiency in Revit preferred.
+ Basic knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
+ Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
+ Ability to work in team environment.
+ Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
Required Experience
+ Currently a 3rd, 4th, or 5th year student enrolled in a landscape architecture, architecture, or urban design program.
+ Previous internship with an architectural or interior design firm preferred
