Landscape Coordinator

The Landscape Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the landscape management/maintenance program. The community standards require a first-class level of maintenance and operations at all times. Keep a well-maintained common areas and boulevards are major assets of the Association and their protection and improvement must be paramount.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provided assistance and support to the Landscape and Community Managers.Visually inspect landscape daily and issue repair or maintenance work orders as directed replated to trees, shrubs, turf, irrigation, drainage and seasonal colorCoordinate with the landscape contractor and Landscape Manager for turf care, plant and shrub replacement, trimming and follow through of contract per HOA and District guidelinesMonitor irrigation systems and equipment to ensure proper irrigation levels and efficient use of waterInvestigate and reduce false alerts. Verify and issue work orders for tree trimming and removal of dead trees in HOA and District areasMonitor and manage system for tracking irrigation repairs, issue work orders and inspect completed repairs as necessaryMonitor and maintain system to track water usage month-to-month, budget vs. actual and current year vs. prior year comparisonsReconcile water meters to Calsense flow reportRecap weather data monthly to substantiate water usageSummarize irrigation repairs by categoryMaintain an irrigation system inventory of valves and heads with database maps for each system.Inspect for water savings opportunitiesStay up to date on industry knowledge of landscaping, tree enhancement, water conservation and re-use opportunitiesCoordinate with lake management contractor regarding three lakes and the oxbows in terms of compliance with contracts, operations, damage and insurance claims, lake stocking, etc.Solicit and develop proposals for recommended projects and present them to the Landscape Manager for reviewMaintain cost control budget management

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to establish strong interpersonal relationshipsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailCustomer-service orientationProficiency in MS Office with excellent Excel capabilitiesPrevious management or supervisory experience preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree with1-3years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Calsense and Rainbird Irrigation systems (preferred)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Current Texas Irrigators License (preferred)
