Work responsibilities include assistinglandscape architectsin our team with:
Participate in design workshops, public facilitation, and concept development.Development of site design projects from concept development through construction documentationCreating diagrams and illustrative analysis and concept drawings using 3D and 2D digital illustration tools, free-hand drawing and color renderingCollaborating with architects, planners, engineers and other site-based disciplines on institutionally-scaled design and planning projectsCollaborating with others on public input sessions, programming, and design implementation of master plansPreferred QualificationsPreference given to local candidatesA minimum of 4 semesters completed in majorA minimum of2.9 GPAInterested candidates should respond with a resume and portfolio of recent studio work (via web-based link)Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate degree in landscape architecture major in an accredited university programTechnical skills should include proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D modeling / rendering programs (such as Rhino, VRay, Sketchup, Enscape, and/or Lumion) and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator)Understanding of the fundamentals of the full range of design phases including site analysis, site planning, grading and drainage, conceptual development, construction documentationArcGIS, Grasshopper and/or Revit knowledge are desirable but not essentialDesire to work in landscape architecture/urban design environment upon graduationRequired QualificationsMust be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program Attention to detail Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills Basic Microsoft Office skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
