A well-established landscaping company dedicated to providing top-notch lawn care and landscaping services to residential and commercial clients is seeking Landscaping Spray Technicians. As a Landscaping Spray Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and beauty of our clients' lawns by managing weed control, fertilization, and overall lawn care. Your primary focus will be identifying and addressing weeds and other lawn health concerns through proper treatment, all while ensuring that lawn care practices are environmentally responsible and effective. This role requires a deep understanding of plant health, soil care, and pest management, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $20 to $25/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time

Essential Functions & Duties: Apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers to control weeds and promote healthy lawn growth and monitor the effectiveness of treatments Conduct regular lawn inspections to assess lawn health and identify weeds, pests, and diseases, and report them to your supervisor Maintain accurate records of treatments, including product types, quantities, and application dates Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in weed control and lawn health treatments, including sprayers and spreaders Monitor irrigation to ensure optimal watering and soil health, report to superior if adjustment is needed Safely handle and store chemicals according to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing concerns
Qualifications: Previous experience in lawn care, weed control, or pest management preferred Knowledge of turfgrass health, soil science, and plant care practices preferred Ability to apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers in a safe and effective manner Ability to identify weeds, pests, and diseases preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality results Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
