Reports To: Branch Manager
Summary
From the initial contact with clients, to installation and billing, the Project Manager coordinates all aspects of the successful and timely completion of large print projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the production process and installation of printed materialsIncrease gross profit by producing projects in an efficient mannerGenerate estimates and create work orders with related documentationPartner with operations and sales to establish material pricing with vendorsNegotiate with outside vendors to secure best pricing Ensure projects are completed to specifications Maintain awareness and knowledge of competitive material pricing Quality control and risk management - change orders, shipping, and delivery issuesCompile, organize and present all associated costs - invoices, change orders, equipment rentals, and outsourcingConstant communication with all stakeholders: clients, sales team, operations team, and 3rd party vendors Independently organize and prioritize tasks to meet established production deadlines Lead and schedule pre/post meetings for large rollouts with appointed operations teamsContribute to RFQs from clients to secure new projectsReview tender packages and extract elements that are required for quotingAttend site meetingsAdhere to schedules, keeping all parties informed of delays or changes in schedulingEnsure projects meet client deadlines and expectationsComply with all Occupational Health & Safety Act requirements
Additional Requirements
Minimum (4) years of experience in large format digital printing project managementEstimating experience in print production (considered an asset)Strong working knowledge of large format printing, finishing processes and materials Strong background in Outlook, Microsoft, and Adobe Suite softwareSelf-motivated with a sense of urgency Ability to work well independently with minimal oversight, as well as in teams.Ability to multitask, plan, organize, problem solve and troubleshootExceptional attention to detail and creative critical thinking Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent people and customer service skillsCollege Diploma or University Degree in a graphic communication related discipline (considered an asset)If you require reasonable accommodation for any part of the application or hiring process due to a disability, please submit your request to [email protected] and use the words “Accommodation Request” in your subject line.
