Summary

The Large Press Operator prepares metal accessories for further production. This role has responsibility for operating equipment safely and efficiently, meeting quality standards and production targets.

● Regular Work Schedule:

○ Second Shift: 3:30pm to 2:00am (Monday through Thursday)

○ Overtime as required

Essential Duties

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Mechanical and technical capabilities, demonstrated with hands-on performance and an assessment.

● Must be experienced and familiar with most hand tools and have a working knowledge of precise measurements.

● Ability to use, understand, and interpret moderate to advanced gauges, templates, written instructions, drawings, and QC documents.

● Understand and properly process critical dimension requirements and immediately call out and correct processes that are out of tolerance.

● Adhere to work instructions with no tolerance for workmanship error.

● Ability to properly use/read caliper, micrometer and tape measure.

● Trouble shooting / problem solving skills.

● Must have forklift license or be able to obtain one.

Physical Demands

● While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate information with/to other employees; frequently stand and walk; use both hands to handle objects, tools and controls; frequently bend and reach into baskets on floor; occasionally stoop; and reach with both arms and hands.

● The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

● Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.

Under This Roof, We Require

● High School Diploma or equivalent

● 3+ months of prior manufacturing experience

● 1+ years of punch press or relevant experience preferred

● Computer skills, ability to utilize basic computer programs when required
