Start your new career as a CNC Laser Cutting Operator with MAU at Columbia Vehicle Group in Aiken, SC. As a Laser Operator, you will set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to support the production of high-quality metal components. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
What We Offer: Pay of $21.25 per hour First shift schedule with voluntary overtime Temp-to-hire opportunity PPE provided Health benefits Referral program Opportunity for advancement No weekend work What We’re Looking For: Technical training or related CNC operation experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints Working knowledge of metal materials Mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Ability to work independently or as part of a team CNC programming experience (preferred) Experience with material movement and computer usage (preferred) What You’ll Do as a CNC Laser Cutting Operator: Set up and operate a Mitsubishi laser cutting machine Perform daily startup and shutdown procedures on CNC equipment Stage raw materials for daily production runs Monitor machine operations and ensure quality output Load and unload materials from the machine Assist team members with machine operations as needed Follow production schedules as directed by supervisors Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions
