As a Laser Process Engineer specializing in New Product Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing laser-based processes, including cutting, welding, and marking. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise and strong collaboration skills to drive new product launches and ensure seamless production transitions.
Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of New Product Development related to laser technologies and processes.Drive the successful transition of new programs to production, ensuring all performance metrics are met.Develop technical documentation, including process development protocols and training materials.Troubleshoot and resolve process challenges through root cause analysis.Support internal and external DFM/DFA discussions to enhance manufacturability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to align on project objectives.Travel as needed for customer visits, events, and other business needs. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required.Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with expertise in laser processing preferred.Familiarity with Medical Device Validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ, PFMEA, GR&R, etc.) is a strong plus.Proficiency in technical software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and statistical analysis tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.Benefits and Perks:Industry competitive salary based on your experience/qualificationsHealth, Vision, and Dental Insurance401(k) planPTOYour New Organization:
