Reporting to the Regional Controller, the Collections Manager LATAM  is responsible for improvements in the collections area throughout Latin America, supporting supervisors to achieve better DSO results. It will be located in CDMX. The role is hybrid, working 2/3 days at the office located in Portal San Angel.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Establish policies, procedures and best practices for debt collection in the region.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DSO, delinquency rate and portfolio recovery.Supervision and Coordination: coordinate and supervise the activities of debt collection managers in each country.Ensure the uniform implementation of debt collection processes and standards in all markets.Provide support and advice to resolve complex cases or high-risk accounts.Analysis and Reporting: analyze and present financial reports related to accounts receivable to senior management.Identify trends and areas for improvement by interpreting regional collection data.Leadership and Team Development: motivate, train, and develop collection managers, ensuring a high level of performance and commitment.Implement training programs to strengthen negotiation and financial analysis skills in local teams.Compliance and Regulations: ensure compliance with local laws, financial regulations, and internal policies in all collection operations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA or postgraduate studies in finance or international business are desirable.Minimum 8-10 years of experience in accounts receivable or financial management, with at least 3-5 years leading multinational teams.Experience in regional or multinational management, ideally in consumer goods, technology, manufacturing or financial services sectors.Advanced knowledge of accounts receivable management and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle).Relevant Knowledge of financial analysis and advanced Excel.Familiarity with local regulations and international accounting standardsFluent in English (essential), Portuguese and Spanish. Other languages ​​will be positively valued.
