Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for an experienced Partner Development Manager (PDM) for LATAM to develop relationships and manage the success of our Distributors.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

As a Partner Development Manager within AWS SMGS, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of the AWS cloud computing platform to transform customers and industries.
Within the AWS Partner Organization, AWS Partner Development Managers are responsible for developing and promoting partners that are part of the AWS Partner Network (APN) in specific technology areas to AWS customers and sellers.

To accelerate our rapidly-growing partner community, we are looking for a motivated, technically savvy person to manage the relationship with strategic AWS Distributors that provide services to AWS Partners that can leverage new and existing AWS Services. In this role, you will work across the AWS organization to develop these high-quality partners.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables them to easily interact with partner executives. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions to build and run significant partnerships.
The position also requires a strong hands on experience working with Distributors and their partners.



Key job responsibilities
• Manage assigned Partner accounts and coordinate the extended team working within their accounts across LATAM
• Elaborate and develop joint Partner Business Plans
• Forecast sales
• Up-sell other services and penetrate new territories
• Optimize allocation of marketing development funds
• Resolve any financial issues with their Partner accounts
• Work across a range from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed team leadership
• Use data to problem solve and a track results through continuous improvement
• Think and act creatively to leverage resources
• Manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
