LATAM Manufacturing Operations Lead

The Latam Manufacturing Operations Lead is responsible for the End-to-End Process for the manufacturing Technology Division including Joinville and Buenos Aires Sites, this Leader provides direction to the cross-functional team to ensure reliability of quality Indentificators. To ensure that all requirements for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Quality, Financial and Capex are achieved, consistent with expectations from our company and global team.

The director have a role to develop and execute the site strategic priorities and Lead actively sponsor a culture of continuous improvement, while leveraging Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as a core value.

Main Responsibilities:

Set the overall regional strategy, including developing a 5-year plan to optimize site activity and performance.Work with your team to evaluate and continuously improve the plant's Environmental, Health & Safety compliance posture. You will strive to provide all employees with a safe and healthy workplace.Organization of the manufacturing activities to guarantee an uninterrupted supply of products at a competitive cost. You will collaborate with the site Leadership Teams to ensure proper reporting.Responsible for the Product Quality delivered in your scope. You will provide the necessary evidence and documentation to keep products compliant with various global and national regulations related to these kinds of products. You will ensure that the Quality organization follows the Global Quality strategy.You will promote the creation of the right manufacturing performance tracking tools (incl. the right Key Performance Indicators) and use these tools to evaluate the performance of the manufacturing sites.You will promote Lean Manufacturing & 6 Sigma principles in the manufacturing facilities. You will sponsor the Continuous improvement & best practice sharing initiatives.You will co-define and execute a mid-long and long-term strategy for its manufacturing sites to cope with the targeted growth and the un-predictiveness of some markets.You will frequently interact with the other Marketing/Sales and R&D departments in their Region and will be aware of market trends and new product and application developments. You will be responsible for the manufacturing teams supporting the necessary commercialization & industrialization activities of these unique and improved products/applications with Global functions.Lead the integration between the plants and the region.You will provide ongoing feedback and sponsors development opportunities to your Leadership Team, explicitly focusing on talent and expertise pool.You will ensure compliance within the Region according to the Unit trade standards and policies at Manufacturing sites. Supports trade compliance audits in the Region to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and assists in developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

You have a Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience. Good understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO18001 systems with lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma principles.You can successfully collaborate across functions and geographies and has extensive experience in driving cross-functional processes, with a career progression showing multifunctional growth.You demonstrate creativity and effectiveness in addressing strategic challenges.  Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset; capable of thinking out of the box and taking measured risks.
