Main Missions:

 

Achieve manufacturing process quality targets during launch and pre-serial production. Manage all quality and efficiency-related launch activities within the plant, acting as the voice of the plant's manufacturing organization. Provide technical guidance and training to the manufacturing team. Plan and execute each project’s run@rate, ensuring targets are met according to the project schedule shared with the customer. Prepare and share run@rate reports with the Project NPI Engineer and the project team. Ensure timely execution of the First Production Trial (FPT) for each assigned project, including transferred projects and new launches, by following up on daily planning and managing the FPT action plan. Manage project ramp-up according to the project plan and monitor actual ramp-up curves against standard ramp-up curves, providing weekly updates and convergence action plans. Conduct plant launch readiness reviews and ensure the closure of action plans prior to the project’s SOP date. Monitor capacity planning for the project and escalate any deviations from the plan. Escalate any launch issues immediately upon occurrence. Participate in strategic planning activities to enhance launch performance. Support the Program Manager, Sales, and Engineering teams in the Project Approval Request (PAR) process for Capital Expenditure by providing manufacturing and operations input. Track and follow up on Capex spending, ensuring deliveries align with the approved PAR.

 

To be a success in this role you must have:

 

IT, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (or any equivalent qualification) 3– 6 years working experience in automotive sector in the following fields of activity: process engineering/ project management/ product industrialization/ Manufacturing. Cable of Applying comprehensive knowledge, understanding of concepts and able  to perform varied tasks and projects. May contribute to the development of policies and procedures. Works on complex projects of large scope Accountable, completes work on time and compiles and checks the correctness of master data independently/ able to seeks the necessary assistance from experts and colleagues by himself. Able to focus on meeting objectives. May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.

 

Language Skills:

 

Good communication skills in both French and English is required
