Responsibilities

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for following established laundry procedures to include:  sorting of linen, stain removal and “reject” procedure, washing, drying and folding laundry.

Sorts linen by typeIdentifies stain type and treats accordinglyLoads/unloads washers and dryersKeeps lint traps free of debrisMends and irons linen as assignedCompletes daily cleaning checklistsReports any maintenance concerns to managementDisinfects linen buggies continuously throughout the dayOccasionally retrieves linen from the Hotel Room Attendants Qualifications

Requirements:

Excellent time management skillsStrong organizational skillsMust be able to work calmly in a faced paced environment.A keen eye for detail.Must have a positive, cheerful dispositionPrior professional cleaning and/or laundry experience preferred.Weekends are required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires constant standing and forward reaching, frequent side reaching, handing and grasping are required. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Pulling and pulling an average weight of 25lbs is required. Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Oasis Hotel. 

Working Environment:
