Preferred Qualifications:  

Basic English language communications required.  

Excellent customer services skills.  

Basic Computer Skills required.  

Physical role requiring repetitive heavy lifting items weighing up to 25+ pounds, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and kneeling.  

Requires full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.  

Thorough knowledge and work experience in fitting, altering, and repairing uniforms and linens and operating sewing machines.  

 

Responsibilities:  

Alters and repairs linens, uniforms, curtains, drapes, bedspreads, and pillows.  

Repairs garments delivered by Laundry (example:  replaces missing button on shirt).  

Unpacks new uniforms and inspects them for quality and size.  

Maintains employee records regarding number of uniforms issued, size, repairs completed, etc.  

Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.  

Other duties as assigned.
