**Job Overview:**
At Intercontinental Malta, we are currently seeking a dependable and experienced **Laundry Supervisor** to lead our laundry operations with efficiency and high attention to detail. The Laundry Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the laundry team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation for guest linens, uniforms, and hotel fabrics. This role includes planning workloads, monitoring laundry machine maintenance, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards.
**Responsibilities:**
Your role will consist of:
+ Supervising daily laundry operations including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and sorting of hotel linens and uniforms.
+ Assigning tasks and providing direction and support to laundry attendants and team members.
+ Ensuring the proper handling and care of hotel and guest linens to extend longevity and maintain quality.
+ Inspecting linen and uniforms for damage or wear, and coordinating with relevant departments for replacement or repairs.
+ Maintaining inventory of laundry supplies and ordering stock as required.
+ Ensuring all laundry procedures comply with hygiene and sanitation regulations.
+ Responding to special guest laundry requests promptly and professionally.
+ Training new staff and reinforcing high service and safety standards among the team.

**Skills and Experience:**
+ Previous laundry or housekeeping experience, preferably within a hospitality environment of similar size.
+ Good English communication skills – both verbal and written.
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
+ Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
+ Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
