About Lakewood Regional Support
Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.
Position is responsible for pre cleaning of garments and preparing them for return to guests or team members. Responsibilities include pre cleaning spot and stain removal, sorting, tagging and inspection of garments prior to and after processing.

Sorts, tags, and pre-processes garments prior to cleaningcleaningInspects garments and removes any foreign particles from pocketsLoads garments into cleaning equipmentRemoves clean garments from machines and prepares them for required finish workSorts and inspects cleaned garments prior to performing finish processingOperates steam tunnel equipment to remove wrinkles and process delicate and non-pressable garmentsPlaces garments on hangers, folds, boxes and/or bags finished garmentsGathers/verifies /counts/groups garments belonging to individual guests together for return, removes tagsMaintains overall cleanliness of work area and equipmentOther duties as assignedGeneral 10%

Thorough knowledge and understanding of dry cleaning equipment, spotting techniques and chemicalsAbility to read and write EnglishAbility to stand, bend and stoop repetitively during entire 8 hour shiftAbility to lift up to 35 lbs. repetitivelyAbility to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidaysEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
One year prior experience operating various pressing equipment in a high volume laundry operationThree to five years’ experience as a dry cleaner/spotter in high volume operation preferably hospitality related
