JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Lavatory and Water Agent – PM is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of aircraft lavatories and water systems during evening shifts. This role includes emptying and cleaning aircraft lavatories, refilling water tanks, and ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly. You must adhere to strict health and safety standards, and efficiently complete tasks to maintain the schedule of flights. Also, you must maintain accurate logs of services performed and report any issues or irregularities to their supervisor.
WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS AN LAVATORY & WATER AGENT PM
Committed to working as a team and overseeing our operation Use of personal protective equipment, including a face shield and hearing protection Ability to comprehend and execute safe procedures concerning blood-borne pathogens and universal precaution controls Use lavatory and sanitary water equipment to safely empty, flush, and fill aircraft systems according to airline and regulatory requirements Execute daily quality control checks on equipment You like working as a team, toward a common goal Enjoy working with internal and external customers providing excellent customer service Physical activity may include: Lifting many items up to 70 pounds Walking, lifting and standing for extended periods of time Bending, twisting, turning, stooping With the body, arms, and/or legs Reaching above shoulders Pushing and pulling You’ll be working planeside in all sorts of outside elements You’ll be working within the airport in all areas which might be indoor and/or outdoor You are committed to working safely Ability to coach, train, supervise and motivate a team of lavatory & water agents
Qualifications
Minimum age of 18 years old Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays Strong adherence to safety and hygiene standards Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets Must be able to safely operate automotive and other ramp equipment Ability to pass a drug screen Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
