The Law Enforcement Compliance Legal Specialist performs a variety of tasks to support the Privacy & Law Enforcement Compliance function within Apple. As a Legal Specialist on this team you will be responsible for processing and responding to information requests received from government agencies and will also be required to support other tasks as needed. You will also be responsible for communicating official company positioning within established Data Protection and Privacy principles. The Legal Specialist responds directly to standard-level requests and identifies and raise non-standard requests to the appropriate level internally. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, and possess the ability to resolve request issues in an effective and efficient manner. DescriptionDescriptionProcessing information requests received from Government agencies and from customers for their personal information. Researching issues and engaging with relevant teams within Apple to retrieve appropriate information to include in standard-level responses. Responding to standard-level requests with appropriate response templates. Raising non-standard requests to appropriate internal level for further review. Accurately recording and reporting on all in-scope activity arising in relevant systems.
