The Minnesota Gambling Control Board regulates the $4.5 billion lawful gambling industry ensuring the integrity of charitable gambling operations and the lawful use of charities’ net profits. This position is being posted at both the Lawful Gambling Compliance Regulator 1 and Lawful Gambling Compliance Regulator 2 levels and one vacancy will be filled according to the qualifications of the applicant hired. Upon completion of training, this position will have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule based on business need or work in the office once the training and probationary period has been satisfied. The incumbent will be required to complete a telework agreement. In person/office days will be at the Roseville, MN location. This hybrid arrangement will be subject to change based on the agency's operational needs. LGCR 1 This position in the Regulatory Unit performs professional level regulatory analysis, resolution and technical assistance for licensed organizations and their permitted premises where charitable gambling is conducted under the supervision of senior specialists. The duties include performing analysis of organization records and gambling equipment at permitted sites to determine compliance with statute and rule. This position will analyze and evaluate organization record keeping, internal control systems, financial records related to games in play and lawful gambling activity. They will prepare communications regarding permitted premises records inclusive of findings, facts and corrective action recommendations. They will also provide accurate technical assistance so that clients are informed regarding applicable statutes, rules and policies LGCR 2 In addition to the responsibilities listed for the LGCR 1, the LGCR 2 will have increased independence, be a subject matter expert and be more involved with training new employees as well as conducting training in the agency monthly Gambling Manager Seminar. **Minimum Qualifications** To be qualified for and considered for this position, applicants must meet all the minimum qualifications for that class level listed below.
