We are seeking a Lawn Care Specialist to work in our growing turf care department.

 

If you are looking for a company that can cross-train you in turf and tree care, this position is for you! As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing professional lawn care services to residential and commercial clients. No experience is required!

Responsibilities

Our experienced team of turf care professionals will provide hands-on training to ensure your success. As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will play an important role in:

Monitoring, diagnosing, and treating insects, weeds, and diseasesApplying fertilizers and weed and insect control products to residential and commercial lawns according to safety procedures and label instructionsPerforming slice seeding, aeration, over-seeding, and major turf care renovationsCommunicating with residential and commercial clients regarding work performed during site visitsCompleting accurate record-keeping and reporting dailySafely driving a company vehicle to multiple properties throughout the dayWorking as a member of a tree care crew, under the Arborist Crew Leader's supervision during the off-season

 

Qualifications A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoorsValid driver's license and clean motor vehicle recordAbility to pass a criminal background checkAbility to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License – we will pay for the cost of the exam and help you prepare!Prior experience working in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required
