In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch lawn care services to our high-value clients in the Rochester and Canandaigua Lake areas. If you're ready to join us and take your career to the next level, apply today!Responsibilities:Communicate with clients to assess their needs and provide recommendationsCreate and maintain beautiful lawns using a variety of equipment to apply fertilizers and weed control as well as aerate and overseed lawnsMonitor, diagnose, and treat insect, disease, and cultural conditionsBe proactive in anticipating what will occur under vary conditions and act accordinglySelect appropriate product(s) or treatment(s) for the service neededAccurately, calibrate, and maintain equipmentComplete applications according to DEC, label instructions and safety proceduresComplete jobs by entering accurate data into our CRM as it relates to record keeping, DEC reportingInteract respectfully to all team members, clients, vendors etc.Requirements:Prior experience in lawn care treatments along with appropriate state pesticide applicators license is requiredKnowledge of common cool season turfgrass types and issuesGood understanding of insect & disease life cycles, plant biology, and soil biologyComprehensive experience with ride on spray, application, and aeration equipment is requiredValid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to & from workExcellent listening and verbal communication skillsWillingness to learn and ability to follow instructionsPhysical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsHours vary per week (40+) based on weather conditions and time of year. We don't currently expect you to work on Saturday's but the hours can be available if you are interested. We offer competitive pay ($25-$30/HR depending on experience), paid time off & holiday pay, profit sharing, 401K benefits, continuing education, opportunity for seasonal or year round work, and the opportunity for growth within the company.
