Location: Edinburgh (preference as main team location), Bristol or London - Hybrid working
Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits

The Customer Banking Legal Team are passionate about making things better for customers, finding solutions and providing pragmatic legal advice. We’re looking for a Lawyer who can help us deliver that.
How you’ll make a difference
You’ll be responsible for providing legal advice to support delivery of bank-wide projects in line with internal deadlines. Acting as a source of professional legal expertise to stakeholders including Products, Risk, Marketing, Digital, Operations, Financial Support Services, Branches, Change and Rectifications. You will also be advising on new product development, legal and regulatory developments, digital adoption, terms and conditions, marketing, operational queries, and all legal issues related to TSB’s personal and business banking products as well as our range of 3rd party offers in the TSB Marketplace. We'd want you to maintain an awareness of internal projects and external legal developments and how these affect the business, tailoring your advice accordingly.
What you’ll bring
To make sure you’re set up for success you’ll already have these skills and experience:
• Be a qualified lawyer in Scotland or England, ideally with around three years’ relevant post qualification experience, though other levels of experience will be considered.
• Have financial services products/regulatory legal knowledge and/or in house experience. Payments and/or consumer credit experience would be beneficial.
• Possess an eye for detail and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Can provide pragmatic legal advice and proactively offer legally compliant and customer-focused solutions.
• Be able to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
