Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is looking for reliable candidates for some Materials Trimmer positions with a company in Erie, PA. This is a 1st shift positions with a pay rate of $15/hour. Raise review at 90 days.
Materials Trimmer--Sower
Shift: 1st 7am-3:30pm M-F
Pay Rate: $15/hour start. Raise review at 90 days.
Screening Process: resume submittal and interview with the company

Duties
Cut and layup ballistic material-- Ballistic materials are made from various substances, including steel, plastic, ceramics, and titanium. It is a form of ballistic protection used to shield the wearer from bullets and shrapnel by using their mechanical properties Use sheet cutter and razor knife to size sheets of materials if necessary Follow the job traveler descriptions of materials sizes and number of layers Count and label each layer of material in a layup Follow a schedule and work with shop supervisors on a daily basis to assess and correct any problems or address production issues that may arise Performs preliminary visual inspection of ballistic parts. Completes reports and paperwork required for the job Understands the traveler and engineering drawing plus any other instructions for process control Understands the inventory control system and fulfills requirements for adding or removing parts from inventory
