Job Description:

The LCC Copilot is a vital role within our organization, responsible for steering the Logistics Conversion Costs (LCC) in France.Acting as a strategic partner to both finance and logistics teams, this position is responsible for analyzing, managing, and improving logistics cost efficiency while supporting broader supply chain goals. The role also leads Value Leadership initiatives focused on reducing costs, enhancing customer satisfaction, and lowering CO₂ emissions.

What are we looking for?

Master’s degree (Bac+5) Finance, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, with at least 1 year focused on logistics or supply chain finance, particularly in managing logistics conversion costs. Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting within a logistics or supply chain context. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail, particularly in the area of logistics cost management. Financial Acumen: deep understanding of cost structures within logistics operations, and cost accounting, with a specific focus on logistics conversion costs. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel, knowledge of Power BI is a strong advantage.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Financial Management of Logistics Conversion Costs (in partnership with the Finance Supply Chain BP):LCC Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of logistics conversion costs, including transportation, warehousing, and handling expenses, to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets specifically for logistics conversion costs in France, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals and operational strategies. Cost Control: Implement cost control measures and monitor performance against budgeted LCC, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions when necessary. Reporting and Performance Measurement:Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports focused on logistics conversion costs, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and variance analysis to senior management. Regional Collaboration: Work with regional teams to consolidate and report LCC data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial reporting across the organization. Performance Metrics: Support to establish and track performance metrics related to logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness, providing actionable insights to improve operations. Strategic Planning and Collaboration:Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, procurement, and operations teams in France and the broader region to align financial strategies with logistics objectives and ensure effective cost management. Decision Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making related to logistics initiatives, including transportation modes, warehouse locations, and inventory management by analyzing potential cost savings.  Operational Cost Impact Forecasting: Anticipate and model the financial impact of unexpected operational events (e.g., delays, volume surges, supply disruptions) to adjust budgets and provide timely decision-making support Value Leadership Initiatives: Roadmap Ownership: Lead the development and execution of a Value Leadership roadmap, focusing on initiatives that address the 3Cs: Costs, Customer, and CO2.  Initiative Tracking: Monitor and report on the progress of cost-reduction initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and identifying areas for further improvement.
