LCSW Drug & Alcohol Counselor

Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a LCSW Drug & Alcohol Counselor for their Moab, UT location. Responsibilities:
+ This position provides counseling and support to individuals struggling with primary substance abuse disorder and dual diagnosis.
+ The counselor will work with patients throughout their treatment journey, from intake to discharge, and will collaborate with the treatment team to ensure a comprehensive recovery plan.
+ Complete intake, admission, discharge, and transfer paperwork.
+ Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
+ Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
+ Educate patients on all aspects of treatment, related health issues, and steps to recovery.
+ Assist in monitoring patient activities on center premises.
+ Report patient abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
+ Report patient grievances.
+ Develop psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans.
+ Identify and address clinical and case management needs.
+ Ensure compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
+ Maintain proper licensure and certifications.
+ Participate in preparation for surveys and inspections.
+ Attend staff meetings.
+ Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Act in the best interests of the program and company.
+ Participate in community relations activities.
+ Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
+ Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:
+ Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred
+ Experience in substance abuse field is preferred
+ Must Be Current LCSW
+ Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable
+ Organized and resourceful self-starter; strong ability to work in a team.
+ Interest in and motivated to work closely with community resources on patient behalf.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities due to nature of liaison work on interdisciplinary team.
+ Compassion for and interest in working with vulnerable populations, including patients with mental health issues and addiction.
+ Non-judgmental attitude and firm personal boundaries.
