Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a LCSW Drug & Alcohol Counselor for their Moab, UT location. Responsibilities: + This position provides counseling and support to individuals struggling with primary substance abuse disorder and dual diagnosis. + The counselor will work with patients throughout their treatment journey, from intake to discharge, and will collaborate with the treatment team to ensure a comprehensive recovery plan. + Complete intake, admission, discharge, and transfer paperwork. + Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions. + Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions. + Educate patients on all aspects of treatment, related health issues, and steps to recovery. + Assist in monitoring patient activities on center premises. + Report patient abuse, neglect, and exploitation. + Report patient grievances. + Develop psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans. + Identify and address clinical and case management needs. + Ensure compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards + Maintain proper licensure and certifications. + Participate in preparation for surveys and inspections. + Attend staff meetings. + Comply with local, state, and federal regulations. + Act in the best interests of the program and company. + Participate in community relations activities. + Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. + Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership. + This job description is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job.
