LCSW Intake Coordinator
*Description* *Full-time LCSW Intake Coordinator Manager- Norwalk Hospital (50 Miles from New York City)*** Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, has as excellent opportunity for a full-time, experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) working in Norwalk, Connecticut. The LCSW intake Coordinator Manager will provide support to the Behavioral and Mental Healthcare department following a Monday-Friday office schedule of 9:00am-5:30pm with some remote days. We are located in suburban Fairfield County, about 50 miles northeast of New York City. We offer a highly competitive compensation package including base salary. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned clinical social worker with strong broad based clinical skills, group work, crisis intervention, and discharge planning as well as hold a Connecticut state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). The position will be responsible for operation of department patient evaluation and assessment service, oversee clinical staff and coordinates all central intake functions: inquiry calls, emergency room assessment, and medical unit consults. Qualifications: ·Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school ·Minimum of 3 years’ experience ·Current CT Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) ·Experience in assigned specialty area, group work, central intake, discharge planning, DSMIV Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year.
