Title: LCV EUCOM Bulgaria: ROWPU Supervisor Program Summary KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries. Job Summary As the ROWPU Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Units (ROWPU) and/or water plants. In this role, you will manage the structure and processes necessary to deliver high-quality water purification services while ensuring compliance with standards, safety, and cost-efficiency. You will lead a team of technicians and staff, provide critical maintenance support, and advise management on operational issues and risks. Roles and Responsibilities + Supervise and maintain the operation of ROWPU and other water purification equipment. + Lead the creation of organizational structures and processes for efficient service execution. + Ensure compliance with water quality standards through regular testing, sampling, and logging. + Advise management on operational impacts, risks, and issues. + Facilitate water production and equipment maintenance with minimal guidance. + Supervise water treatment personnel and enforce safety standards. + Provide on-the-job training and troubleshoot equipment maintenance issues. + Perform equipment repairs and calibrations, ensuring all instrumentation is properly maintained. + Make quick, appropriate decisions to solve problems while prioritizing safety. + Ensure compliance with timekeeping policies and maintain accountability for all materials and property. + Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications) + Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in civilian, industrial or military water purification operations. + Requires at least 1 year of leadership experience in an industrial or military water purification setting. + Must have proficiency in in TB MED 577, TB MED 576, AWWA standards and DOD 4715.4-G OEBGD. + Must have a valid Driver’s License. + Must be able to lift 70 lbs. unassisted and work in extreme climates and awkward positions. + Possession of a water treatment license (e.g., Department of Health certification, MOS 77W/92W/1171/3E4X1, or Water Treatment A, B, or C license or College accredited certifications). + Understanding of water treatment techniques and equipment used in reverse osmosis processes is required. + Must be computer literate. + Requires excellent English communication skills (written and oral). + Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages. Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications) + A background in laboratory and wastewater treatment. + Basic knowledge of water plant hydraulic and electromechanical operations and troubleshooting. + Appropriate country water operator license or Military MOS training (92W ,1171 and 3E4X1). + In-depth knowledge of groundwater wells and submersible borehole pumps. + Understanding of plant operation bladders and their potential safety hazards. + Experience with SCADA systems and troubleshooting. + Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) programming and troubleshooting. + Basic knowledge of electronic controls and communications, including troubleshooting skills.
